Tamar Valley Tourism brings together fishing, mining heritage, sailing, gardens, art, canoeing, and eating out with accommodation from hotels to holiday cottages, from B&B's to camping and caravanning, all along the River Tamar, from North Cornwall down past Plymouth to the Rame Peninsula. Mayflower 400

1620 TO 2020 : MAYFLOWER 400

 

Steering our future, inspired by the past

Mayflower 400 is a year- long national and international commemorative programme incorporating over 100 events around Plymouth to mark the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower’s historic voy age from Plymouth to America.

The 12 month programme includes wide ranging events from large scale public art installations, cultural exhibitions and live shows to community dance performances, theatre, creative works and sports.

Our Aims for 2020-2021

Our aim for this year and the coming year is to take We Love the Tamar Valley into the 21st century and grow from a tourism association into a Destination Marketing Organisation.
